Hello Little Mutts!!
I can’t imagine my life without Sasha (re-name from Cha Cha). When I first adopted her on December 24/2009 she was very friendly but quite timid. You should see her now!!! Going to Doggy Day Care! Playing with her regular dog buddies in the park and of course going for long walks with me (5 hours on weekends!!). She really has been so easy to live with; of course she is great off leash and on. Her house training went by with only 3 accidents and they were more my fault for expecting her to wait too long!!! She loves to hunt after birds and squirrels in the park and will position herself like a pointer when she is focusing on an animal she wants to sneak up on……. She looks soooooo cute when she does this!! Tail straight out and one forepaw slightly up. I feel she has adapted so well to life in the inner city of Calgary and to condo living too!! I must say that I feel I have benefited just as much from living with Sasha as she has benefited from living with me. When I come home she has the cutest way of greeting me that makes my heart melt every time!! She also gets me out of the condo and out in the park meeting so many other dog minded people. There really is a whole dog culture that you wouldn’t know exists until you actually live with a dog yourself. She really has become my best friend!!! That is about all for now. I haven’t taken a picture of her in that “pointer stance” but when I do get a good one I will forward one for you all to see!!
Thank you Little Mutts for changing my life so positively by letting me adopt Sasha; she really is the best thing that has happened to me in many years!!!!
Sincerely,
Andrea
