We changed China's name to Ellie, like Miss Ellie from the Dallas show, seeings how she did come from Texas. We thought of Daisy at first but she did not like that name at all ,and is listening very well to Ell,although Bern does like to call her Rubberbutt sometimes, cause she does like it when he rubs her bum. She has settled in fairly well, she is still kinda nervous about Bern, which is kinda sad cause all Bern wants is for her to love him back. She is good with him when I am not around, but I really am her person I think. She gets on well with our first dog Ruby, but has made friends with a dog from down the road, so much so that the other dog has moved in here with us also {his choice not ours}. She LOVES to run and fast I might add, and Ryley loves to chase her. For the most part she is listening and staying in the yard, but she really has a mind of her own and if there is a german shepard to be chased off the yard and down the road no one can stop her. She only barks at other animals when they come on the yard. Not one of the dogs I own make very good dog bells, for they do not bark when people come around. I don't like yappy dogs, but it would be nice if they could/would announce guest. Oh well we cant have everything now can we. We like her very much and she us I guess, she is a very quite little girl who is slowly allowing us the occasional cuddle, and some times I am allowed to give her a little kiss. None of that mushy stuff tho a quick peck is all that is required. She even had an afternoon snooze with me in my lasyboy the other day,so I really think she will come around.I have sent you a photo of her just hanging in the back yard hope you like it.
Thank you for trusting us ,she really does have a good home with us here
Till next time Cheryl, Bern, Ruby and Ellie
