They gave me my proper title now that I have come to live here with the Andersons
–
I am now known as Queenie (or your highness or your majesty and sometimes I let them get away with little squinker!). Every time I meet new people now they bow down before me or sometimes even kneel (Note: from ‘mom’ we’re just reaching down to pet her because she is so short but don’t tell her that!)
I am loving my new home
–
to tell you how well I have adjusted I now play with toys and love to play fight and this past week I actually WENT INTO THE BATHROOM! That’s right
–
all by myself!!! I used to be soooo scared of the bathrooms
–
I hate water and anything that squirts or fizzes or even water bottles! But mom has convinced me that bathrooms here are ok and that I can trust my people!
Here’s a picture of me in my backyard just after I arrived back in March….
Is it any wonder they fell in love with me? Mom still takes me to Pampered Pooch for my bath and to get my nails done (she doesn’t like to do them!) so you can see I stay looking my regal best all the time. I have beds in almost every room in the house and if there’s no bed for me everyone shares their laps with me! I have toys everywhere
–
I love the squeaky ones
–
I can sit and make them squeak for over 15 minutes! Drives them all nuts but it’s cute! Here’s a picture of me with one of favourite toys…
Here’s a picture of me at Sunday School with one of my littlest subjects
–
he lives next door to me and I love him and his little sister
–
I love all my Sunday school kids!
The next picture is me napping on the couch with my biggest boy and then a picture of me with my youngest boy when we were playing with my toy (they like to hide it and then think I can’t find it
–
hee hee!!).
So I have to say this has worked out very well for me and I am very grateful you found my furever home for me and I know my family is extremely happy with me (mom keeps threatening to secretly video tape dad playing with me – he pretends to be such a tough guy but I have him wrapped well around my little paw!!!).
Thanks again for everything and keep in touch!!!
Queen Chrissie
