Linus, who is now named a fine Scottish name...Craigallachie which is a mouthful, so we just call him "Craigie". When we first got him from Little Mutts it took him a while to realize that he was in his own home. Once he realized that he had a home, he blossomed. Now a regular day is going for a walk in the woods in the morning, another walk in the woods in the evening, and hanging out with a couple of cool cats (yep. the feline ones). We enrolled Craigie in a great doggy daycare since we noticed that he was quite fearful of larger dogs. Well, after spending time with other dogs (large and small) in a safe environment, he is quite happy to see a larger dog. Now, he goes to doggy daycare twice a week...just because it's fun - and he has big dog and little dog friends. Winter showed us how creative our little guy is. During the cold snap, Craigie tried to use the cat's litter box instead of going outside. We came up with a compromise. Next to the little box we put a doggy pee pad. Smart guy.
Amazing thing, today Craigie learned how to play fetch. He had a great time, then suddenly ran upstairs and hid the fetch toy. I'm not sure if this is part of the game...according to Craigie.
