My name is Bandit. I was eight weeks old when I flew into Calgary on a very stormy night in January. I had never seen snow before because I was born in Los Angeles, and I sure didn't like the cold weather. My foster mom picked me up and took me home where I met Niko, who was to become my big brother.
I was so cute and adorable that my foster mom decided to adopt me. My new brother wasn't too sure about who I was but in a few weeks he knew I was going to be a permanent member of the family. He shares all of his toys with me--well, at first I stole all the ones he would be playing with and that's why I was named Bandit. He even lets me sleep in his bed with him.
We get to go on long walks every day and twice a week my cousin Ruby comes with us.
On the weekends I go to Nose Hill Park and meet lots of other dogs too.
The best part is that I don't have to wear a leash and can run and run. I got to go to school, passed all of my exams, and even had a graduation.
My family loves me very much and says that adopting me was the best thing they ever did. I love them very much as well. Thanks to them and Little Mutts Rescue for saving my life so that I now have a wonderful home and family.
Sincerely,
Bandit
