Hola!
It’s me Chloe reaching out to you from my new home in Okotoks. I’m having a blast out here with my new mom and dad and their ten year old son who I sort of see as my big brother. This is quite a friendly place. Whether I am getting walked around the neighborhood or romping around the local off- leash-park I keep meeting other dogs and people who seem to adore me. Not only does my family love spending time with me there’s also this sweet neighbor girl who stops by occasionally to ask my mom or dad if she can walk me. Yeah it’s tough being popular but I am handling it.
It wasn’t that long ago I was fending for myself on the streets of Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. But luckily the Little Mutts people got me to a loving Calgary foster home and then down to the local Pet Expo where my current family met and fell in love with me. It wasn’t hard to win them over. Even though I was very skinny and my coat was far from its best, I just snuggled in their arms, looked sweetly in their eyes, gave them a few licks and the deal was done.
In my new home I have put on weight, gained much confidence and have rediscovered the puppy in me. I love ambushing my family with licks when they get down to floor level and have learned how to deliver “high-tens” by getting on my hind legs and smacking my front paws on the hands of my mom, dad and human brother with my tail wagging the whole time.
I am so happy to be where I am and ever so grateful to the Little Mutts Rescue Society for making it possible. You people are awesome!
Much Love,
Chloe
